Financial Empowerment: Final Sessions (video)

The 2020 Park Hill Financial Empowerment Program is in its pilot stage and is the culmination of work in Community Voice, Community Leadership, and Community Action. To learn more about the program, read the plan here: Park Hill Financial Empowerment Program Plan.

The action committee registered and enrolled 7 Trusted Community Members as trainees in the program and held the fifteenth class of the program on November 18th (this is the fifth session of Module 3 - Business Finance). Unfortunately, due to a technology issue, the session could not be recorded live. The fifth session and sixth session were recorded without participants and have been posted for public viewing. Module 3: Business Finance - Expert Presenters: Apex Business Consulting, LLC

Session 5: Capitalization and Outside Sources of Cash

Session 6: Insurance, Worker’s Comp, and Bonding

These were the last two classes in the program. DMCI and the action committee will be evaluating the program over the next month, and will be producing a report for the community in early 2021.
